In mid-2009 I asked Wanda to participate in my Fae in Us All photography project. I asked her what fairy she would like to portray and she chose to be the photo fairy. So I gathered up some props, including the old 4x5 field camera you see in the photograph and we headed out to Dragonfly landing for the shoot.
Wanda insisted that she would need another fae, preferably a male, to shoot as part of the scenario and she convinced our friend Mark to be her subject. He graciously acquiesced to her request and proceeded to pose nude, in wings and shimmery fabric while she pretended to take his picture while I was taking shots of both of them. It was quite fun.
We spent about 2 hours shooting in around the lower field at Dragonfly landing, including a number of shots in infrared. This has given me plenty of images to work with as part of the project. I particularly like the shot seen to the right and there wasn't a lot of post processing required to get the image to its published state.
Over the next few months you'll probably see a few more images from this shoot posted from time to time, in the meantime, however, I hope you enjoy this image from a fun day of shooting.
